Whey Protein Isolate is a by-product od cheese making which begins its life from milk. Enzymes, heat or other catalysts are added to the milk to curdle it which separates the solid and liquid. The solids are skimmed from the top leaving the liquid whey behind. Whey Protein Isolate is also unique in that the refinement process helps to remove more lactase. Whey Protein Isolate contains all of those making it a complete protein. It contains lots of glutamine, leucine and cysteine.
